Children's notice | PrivBoard

1. Our age limit

PrivBoard is not directed at children under 13. You must be at least 13 years old to use it, or older where the law of your country sets a higher age for agreeing to an online service on your own. In some European countries that age is up to 16. Where the law requires a parent or guardian to agree for a young person, that agreement is needed before the young person uses PrivBoard.

2. COPPA statement (United States)

We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act ("COPPA"). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app has no accounts and does not ask for a name, email address, birth date or phone number. What you type on the keyboard is processed on the phone and is not sent to us.

If we learn that we have personal information from a child under 13 without verifiable parental consent, we will delete it promptly. A parent or guardian who believes a child under 13 has used PrivBoard can write to privacy@privboard.360framed.com to ask what we hold, to have it deleted, and to refuse any further collection. Please include the Support ID from the app's Settings screen if you can, so we can find the subscription record.

3. Young people aged 13 and over

Subscriptions are bought through an Apple or Google account, and those stores set their own rules for children and families. We do not target young people with advertising, we do not sell their data, and we do not profile them. If you are under the age of majority where you live, ask a parent or guardian before you subscribe.

4. Other countries

Where the GDPR or the UK GDPR applies, we follow the age of digital consent set by your country. Where Indonesian law requires a parent's or guardian's consent to process a child's personal data, we do not knowingly process it without that consent. If you believe we hold a child's data, contact us and we will act on it.
